Magpie Pottery has been located in the desert outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico for the past eight years. A fully professional studio, Magpie Pottery operates with 3 computer-controlled kilns and a small gas kiln for the occasional raku firing. All work is constructed from a beautiful, smooth white-clay body ( half porcelain and half stoneware), then electric fired to a mid-range stoneware temperature of cone 6.
All glazes at Magpie Pottery are mixed by hand, so the customer can be assured that all work is food-, microwave-, and dishwasher-safe.
